New Mexico auto tint law

(This is not legal advice) Per New Mexico state law, on sedans and coupes, all windows must allow 20% of the visible light to penetrate through the glass. For trucks and SUVs, the front 2 windows must allow 20% of the visible light to penetrate through the glass and you can go as dark as you want on the rear windows. Windshield tint darker than 70% visible light transmission is illegal. Please select your percentages at your own discretion. NOTICE. Dark tint greatly reduces your visibility while driving. We always recommend the legal limit or lighter, as it is the safest option for visibility. If we're tinting your windshield or if you're selecting a percentage that's darker than what's allowed by law, you agree that The Tint Spa, LLC is not to be held liable for any issues, infractions, legal claims, accidents, deaths, demands or losses that may arise while the vehicle is being operated. Please advise any and all drivers of your vehicle that dark tint can reduce their visibility if driving at night, which we DO NOT recommend.
